Warranty Policy

Warranty rules for Bath Deluxe products.

Products with a 2-year warranty are covered by the full warranty period.

BASIC:

5 years warranty consisting of 3 years full warranty plus 2 years of extended limited warranty*

EXCLUSIVE:

10 years warranty consisting of 3 years full warranty plus 7 years of extended limited warranty*

PRESTIGE:

25 years warranty consisting of 3 years full warranty plus 22 years of extended limited warranty*

Warranty conditions:

The warranty only applies to production and material defects if the product is installed and used according to the instructions of the manufacturer. Damage to the product caused by wrong installation, handling, cleaning or usage is not covered by the warranty. Products that was faulty at delivery must not be installed, and the warranty is lost if installed.

The warranty is valid from the date of purchase and a copy of the purchase receipt must be provided for the warranty to apply. The customer must claim the product within 60 days of the fault was discovered to avoid unnecessary further damage to the product. If a fault has not been reported in due time and it has caused further damage to the product, the customer loses the right to claim the product.

Products directly connected to electricity- and water supply must always be installed by certified professionals in order to maintain the warranty.

Products purchased as second-hand or display models with a significant discount are exempted from the extended limited warranty.

Warranty exceptions:

Bathroom furniture that has been exposed to direct contact with running water from a shower or bathtub is not covered by the warranty as stated in the instruction manual.

The warranty does not apply to freezing damage or if damage and defects are caused due to impurities or limescale in the water. The warranty also does not cover damage caused by lightning strikes or abnormal variations in the voltage of the power supply.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, or scratches, marks or damage caused by impact or accident.

Transport damages are not covered by the warranty. If the transport has been arranged by Bath Deluxe, the right to claim damages will be handled according to the valid NSAB transport rules and legislation at the time of claim. Note that visible transport damage must be reported immediately, and claims related to broken products that can be referred directly to a transport claim, can be refused in case the transport damages are not claimed in due time.

Shower doors that explode during handling and installation are not covered by the warranty. It only explodes if it is handled incorrectly, e.g. by putting the corner of the shower door directly down on a hard surface. Also mirrors with broken corners are not covered by a warranty, unless it can be proven that it was caused during transportation arranged by Bath Deluxe. In that case proof of the damaged packaging is needed to proceed with the claim.

Full warranty period:

During the 3-year full warranty period, Bath Deluxe aftersales service organization will decide if the product will be repaired or replaced with an identical or comparable product. In some cases, a problem can be solved with a simple spare part which will be sent free of charge. If it is necessary, Bath Deluxe will pay for the labor cost of repairing the product, provided that this cost does not exceed the cost of replacing the product.

If Bath Deluxe chooses to repair the product, the product must be installed according to the manual and in a way that it is possible to perform the necessary repair. If a product is installed in a way that repair is not possible, Bath Deluxe remains the right to refuse the repair and to pass on eventual labor and travel cost to the customer.

The cost of repairing a product must be approved by Bath Deluxe and will not be reimbursed if it has not been approved by Bath Deluxe.

If Bath Deluxe decides to replace the product, but the product is no longer sold by Bath Deluxe, it will be replaced with a suitable and comparable product selected by Bath Deluxe.

*Extended limited warranty:

During the extended limited warranty period, Bath Deluxe will provide the spare parts free of charge to repair the product but will not cover any labor cost or other sorts of compensation.

Movable parts or frequently used electrical components like electrical transformers, LED-drivers, LED lights, rubber strips and hinges are not covered during the extended limited warranty period. Those parts can be purchased from Bath Deluxe if needed.

Installation- and instruction manuals:

It is important that the customer reads the manuals carefully. The instructions must be followed in order to maintain the warranty. The installation- and instruction manual can be found inside the product packaging or on Bath Deluxe website. Products directly connected to electricity- and water supply must always be installed by certified professionals in order to maintain the warranty.
